ALPINESTARS LAUNCHES 2009 US AUTO RACING COLLECTION

Alpinestars, founded in 1963 in the Asolo region of Northern Italy as a technical footwear manufacturer, has established itself as the premier performance motorsport clothing company in the industry today. Continuing to expand and develop the technical boundaries of protective motorsport clothing, the company boasts a highly advanced range of apparel, footwear and gloves for both Automotive and Motorcycle racing – in all its differing forms.

Over the years Alpinestars has enjoyed a long and illustrious partnership with a host of World Champions in all the major categories of world motorsport, including MotoGP, Formula 1 and NASCAR.  Three time Nascar Sprint Cup Champion, Jimmie Johnson, Formula 3 Euro Series Champion, Nico Hulkenberg and drivers at the Honda, Toyota and Force India Formula 1 teams have, along with all Alpinestars motorsport athletes past and present, contributed to the ongoing development of the company’s racing and performance products.  It is through this association that Alpinestars has been able to continue to research and develop its range at the highest levels of competition, providing the racers with the finest technical clothing available.

In 2009, Alpinestars has continued to further enhance its auto racing collection by providing additional safety and comfort performance, durability and a range of technical advancements to meet the demanding homologation requirements of the sport’s governing bodies.
